Senior Madlibs

BHSEC Class of ’26

Before the Y2s leave Bard, they leave a final gift: a Madlibs based on their memories at Bard and parts of their personal statement. Have fun!

Having a lot of the same classes with close ones felt  adjective). When we all watched the solar eclipse during sophomore year at the field, I was looking at (noun relating to Bard). I came to Bard without the knowledge of being a normal person and now I’m leaving with my fellow, (ominous adjective) class of 2026 as a person I’d never thought I’d become: (insert proper noun). The day in 10th grade when we won the Girls PSAL Championship it (insert verb describing the absurd environment/weather). Everyone ran on the field jumping and screaming, cartwheels and spraying water. It is where I celebrated with my now closest friends. We left school early to get to the Randalls field on time at (insert noun other than time). Towards the end of the game it was dark and (insert adjective) outside the field lights shined above us. I threw a frisbee in the hall and it hit a substitute. It was a tight game, and a graduate named Mia made the last goal (kick sent from insert favorite moment at Bard). 2-1 was the (insert noun) and we won the championship. Every morning since the winter of (insert verb ending in -ing), I wake up as an optimist, sporting the same gold pendant. I get up, look in the mirror, and examine the (last class of this semester) hanging from the chain. Being part of the different opportunities at Bard inspired me to be a better person, and I think those times were (insert adjective).
